TAEC provides a range of dump load/control boxes in the form of WEL-2K, WEL6K and WEL-30K.
The WEL2K/6K rectifiers contain an uncontrolled diode and a built-in internal dump load, and use externally supplied braking signals.
The WEL-30K rectifier contains a semi-controlled thyristor, an externally connected dump load and internally provided braking signals.

The electronic load control units automatically and continually adjust the power of the dump load to match the wind force, thus maximizing the generation of wind power whilst providing efficient and reliable protection for the inverter.
