About TAEC™
The Alternative Energy Company (TAEC™)was formed in 2005, with the aim of commercially exploiting the opportunities arising from Britain's ever increasing energy consumption. As the world's reserves of oil and gas run out over the coming decades, there has been increasing interest in alternative power sources such as wind energy. The company has therefore developed a range of products utilising alternative power sources that can run domestic appliances and large domestic property and farms, as well as being used in various industries throughout the UK.
The company's main categories of products are wind turbines, solar panels and power inverters. The power inverters can be used to run a wide range of domestic appliances such as computers, as well as providing electricity in remote areas and during emergency power cuts.
The company's wind turbines and solar panels can be used for larger operations such as agriculture and in industrial and commercial premises. These are becoming increasingly popular due to the clean and renewable energy they generate.
David Elsy, Managing Director of the Alternative Energy Company, says: ''We believe the products of the Alternative Energy Company will assist the Government in achieving its target of a 20% reduction in CO2 emissions by 2010. This is a target we must all strive towards and the combined use of wind, wave and solar power will be instrumental in reaching this goal".
